CHALLENGE

Ranch Computing is a 3D rendering farm supporting 3DS Max, Maya, Cinema 4D and other popular 3D rendering engines. They have several hundred dedicated servers (27,000 cores) with GPUs rented per hour to their customers.

After suffering several major outages on the old web infrastructure, Ranch Computing decided that it was about time to invest resources in hardening their core system.
 

SOLUTION

Accelerator Team carried out a full system audit and made recommendations for each finding, deployment of High availability clusters, setup monitoring & alerts, security strengthening and penetration testing. The solution incorporated high availability infrastructure with no SPOF (Single Point Of Failure).

OUTCOME

Ranch computing is now running smoothly on AWS and has suffered zero downtime since the new infrastructure was deployed.
